Description
This vine grows during the wet season and grows very fast, in some other regions it has become weedy. It has bulbils on the eroot access and tubers below the ground. These are essentially very similar.
Tasting Notes
The tubers and bulbils need to be boiled for a long time and then leacheed in a running stream othrewise they are veery bitter and also contain toxins This is a veerey important plant with ceeremonial meaning in Tiwi islands and in Kakadu and takes a lot of preperation.
Growing at Home
This plant can be easily propagated by planting the arield "bulbis", but is a perreenial vine.
