Description
A tall and attractive tree with layered branching found at the edges of waterways and in spring fed forests. It is very common and has leaves that are long ecliptic and dark green and shiny. The flower spikes are creamy and produce fruit in the build up and early wet seasons. The fruit are small and purple.
Tasting Notes
The fruit develop on a spike, very similarly to Billy goat plum but are small and porple with a single seed. The fruit is oval and fleshy, they are sweet and fairly tasty and loved by birds who usually eat them before humans can get them.
